LAYERS Reception Sept 15th!
Happy (almost) end of summer!
I hope your summer has been wonderful and full of adventure! It’s been a busy summer for us as we pack and sort and move stuff up to our new digs in Montana. All the bookcases and most of the books are now up there in the barn along with loads of other stuff.
My studio here in California is in complete disarray as I sort through things. We’ve been debating how to move all my paintings and came up with a great idea. As many paintings as we can fit are going into our teardrop camping trailer! It’s covered and has a nice mattress in it to protect things. The final leg of the move will happen right after Thanksgiving when the big truck gets packed up. My daughter, Eleanor, and I will be driving up the cats, oh my! Then we will fly back to California for a big birthday party for my daughter who is turning 18 in December. Maybe we’ll have an empty house party? Grin.
LAYERS Opening Reception Sunday September 15, 2-5pm.
Los Altos Hills Town Hall
26379 Fremont Road
Los Altos Hills, CA 94022
Ok, I know I said I had my last show already, but my good friends in the Peninsula Chapter of the Womens’ Caucus for Art twisted my arm to enter 3 pieces into this lovely show. The show is up from September through mid-March at the Los Altos Hill Town Hall (Details below). There will be live music, refreshments and wine at the reception AND lots of original art to purchase. The folks at the Town Hall want us to bring bins and greeting cards and such to sell during the reception. Please plan to come by so I can see your smiling face before I head off to the wilds of Montana!
Gems from the Archive Sale closing Sept 14th!
Packing up of paintings is already underway, so if you desire one of there lovely paintings, get on over to the online sale and purchase it. Prices will go back up once I’m in Montana.
