honeybee, the honey of life

Tonight as we got in the car to drive off to dinner, I looked up to see a honeybee on my windshield. It did not appear to have any intentions of moving. I honor the honeybee and did not want to disturb it and figured driving off would send it on its way. I drove off - several miles of driving off at 40 mph - and the honeybee stayed the entire time. I have learned that when critters do this to me, there is a message.

The quote from Andrews Animal Speak book that sums up the symbology for me is that "the bee is a reminder to extract the honey of life and to make our live fertile while the sun still shines. The bee reminds us that no matter how great the dream there is the promise of fulfillment if we pursue it." Bee promises the opportunity to drink the elixir of life.

Hmmm. There are several threads to this one.
