The Healing

This is the second of my Angel paintings. I painted this one after a phone call from a friend who called to check in on my during a recent illness. She described me surrounded by an angel who had her wings around me. I instantly saw this image in my heart.

The angel stands behind me looking over my shoulder. We are both intent upon the healing taking place in my body. Her wings are a cocoon surrounding and holding me. The feathers like fingers gently embracing me in healing energy.
