| Cat Eyed Dancer Sometimes a spark of something shows up and wants to come out and dance and play. When I began this painting I somehow thought she was going to be serious and contemplative. She, however, had other things on her mind and soon turned contemplation on her head. Her snaky hair and feathery headdress are about living passionately with my whole spirit engaged and alive. Fully occupying the present moment and making choices that focus on and support who I am and the work I do in the world. Acrylic on canvas, 22x28. Cat Eyed Dancer prints available through Fine Arts America. |
